Google Business Profile (formally Google My Business)

Many of your best customers may come through Google search, which is why it's important to make sure you're information is not only accessible, but up-to-date there.

Here are the basic steps:

1. Go to google.com and sign into your business account (if you are not already).

2. Once you're signed in, search your exact business name in google.

3. Click the 'Edit profile' button at the top of the results (which should be your businesss)

4. Under 'Contact' scroll to find the phone number field, update, and click 'Save'

Yelp Business Profile

Depending on the type of business you have, Yelp may also be another great source of customers for your company.

1. Log into your Facebook account here.

2. Click into your business page, and click the 'About' section.

3. Find your phone number and either hover next to it (in the classic version) or click the grey circle with three dots and select 'Edit'.

4. Update the number, and click the blue 'Save' button.
